In the classroom students are encouraged to work on projects together. Part of the project process includes research and group discussion, sometimes using digital tools, sometimes not. As the groups progress in their project work, they are encouraged to present their work to other students, to take into account the advice and feedback from their peers (and/or teacher) so as to improve and develop the project work further. This video shows a typical lesson with students moving around the zones as they work on their project. Each student and group is given freedom to present the work as they wish, some prefer using digital tools, such as making films, flashcodes or using online collaborative sites, while others prefer theatre, dance, rap, creating posters etc. Our experience shows the teacher is able to support the groups at whatever stage they are at and therefore provide more individualised support as well as keeping students on track where needed. In this creative writing project students wrote stories and poems, they later shared their work with other students. This was a joint primary and secondary school project.
